Animals as gifts

Hello
I am going to give you something to think about before buying anyone an animal as a gift this holiday season.
Alot of the animals end up homeless after the new puppy or kitten phase pass.
Sadly people bring them either to the animal shelter or just let them outside in the cold weather to fight for them self.
The ones left outside often become road kill or someone who hurts animals finds them and hurts them.
dont get animals as gifts.
Small children can not feed water walk or change litter for animals daily and the eldery could get hurt if they trip over the animal or the animal jumps on them the wrong way without meaning to.
Animals are alot of work and money. So if the person doesnt have the time or money to care for a pet please do not get them one as it would be more heartache then anything.
